Samsung just need to evaluate whether design is still an important criteria in buying. Looks like it is here in this forum
S3 was damn from start as being ugly but yet end up as bestseller phone
I would think a hands on will gives one s better impression as photos are not accurate assessment
Personally design is never my main consideration.
For next galaxy Samsung could possibly consider better classier build materials with minimal plastics while maintaining its shape. This I believe will please more some of its fans

This is the real world
You can never expect one product to have everything. Same goes for other electronics, cars, etc
This is what made our world exciting - constant debate of which is better
Buy both if you can afford n later sell off that you don't like

Right ! Time will tell whether the S4 will follow the success of the S3
And if it succeed, this will shut the mouth of all those who cursed/condemn it

Funny , Why some of you get so heated up over this. You don't like it, just don't even consider buying it. It is not a case of "must buy or die" decision. Go and get the HTC one/Butterfly or Xperia or LG or Nexus, whatever
Samsung is not forcing you to buy its latest S4

Don't be surprised some of the early buyers will be those who are complaining mainly about the design. I see the same trend in S3 when all the "ugly phone" descriptions were thrown about. As I have said earlier , such users can possibly change their mind when physically viewing and handling the phone
Personally just based on the photos, it looks slightly better than the S3. I am fine with its appearance/design - it is not going to win any beauty contest but than buying a phone, as I always said design is not my main consideration unlike some others

No such burn in issue on all my S2,S3, Note, Note 2, Tab 7, tab 7.7, Note 10.1
But than I rarely used these more than a year , average only 6-9 months. Presently only left Note 10.1

Yes , can see that in Nexus 4 and Xperia Z threads. I think I am only one of the few talking negative stuffs about these phones and what I said is true based on my experience using them
I am no fanboy of any brand though I used many Samsung phones and seriously I have no major complains except for only Galaxy S which I openly said is the worst Android phone in my list

With greater sales and profits , only the company can spend more money on marketing efforts
Until and unless HTC gets some form of additional financial support to have a greater marketing budget, their sales will be hard to match Samsung. This is what was reported in BusinessInsider:

I have used the first iphone ( paid a premium of RM 1000 ) , than subsequently all the series till ip5 and till today I still dont understand why the craze over it . I don't feel anything special about it and all these talk of smoothness is just because they do not allow widgets and customization of their homescreens. Allow such stuffs, and all this smoothness talk will stop. And is unimportant - come on , what is the improved mico second smoothness going to give the user - an orgasm ?? Yes, iphone has more apps . How many apps do one need - a thousand. Even a hundred is hell a lot. Whatever app I want in IOS, I can find same or similar alternative in Android
But the iphone is still a good phone . Only I cannot stand are those users who are forever gloating it and that anyone who doesn't use iphone are not as smart as them

I am more interested in the S4 sales figures this time. Will Samsung succeed as in S3 or will it fail. If is latter , it'd be a wake-up call to Samsung to seriously review their design decisions

I don't know how those guys use their phone. Mine 2 weeks still pristine condition
Infact I even tested trying to scratch it using blade n scissors ; it was intact

After using so many Samsung phones I have grown to love the home button. And I see this has retained in S4 n hopefully too the Note3

Unconsciously I still want to presss the phone bottom center many times looking for it when using my xperia z , nexus4 n butterfly. It is practically a very good phone feature though some might not like the sight of it

Since Note2 never bother about CM/AOKP roms anymore
Note 2 touchwiz default rom has improved drastically n I used other roms based on it . Only I don't use TW ui interface
