Hoo yeah, so now design is not a major concern for me already. Cant wait for S4 and One to come to Malaysia. Wanna play with both of them first before making my decision.

Two cases so far that i saw from Xperia Z thread.
Few days released..their pretty glass phone already have micro scratch.

I don't know how those guys use their phone. Mine 2 weeks still pristine condition
Infact I even tested trying to scratch it using blade n scissors ; it was intact

But but but......didn't it have extra protection in the form of the shatter proof sheet? And super tough exterior that withstands life's hard knocks?

Maybe got scratched by sands/dirts.

Sands is super duper more tougher

Will the market price went down if there is not a lot of demand in Malaysia as most pupils said it like s3 and note 2..?? I just hope the price went down and i can jump from gnex to s4..

S4 actually not so bad design, just I don't want holding same device for 2 years. Hehe

Also less people support probably is good prevent Samsung stepping to Apple style.

That shatter proof plastic of Z is prompt to scratch. That is 2nd reason I didn't pick Z.

I'm also afraid my future aluminum HTC One will suffer the same fate. If dropped and got dent..how..?
Both glass and aluminum will be dangg expensive to change. If it possible to change.
That's why the proven light thin bendable plastic rules..!!

Can't see that happening. Because usually, the market would balance itself out. If demand for S4 in Malaysia is low, then the suppliers would also order less. Maybe the first few months if demand really low, they might not lower the price down but instead add more free goodies to attract more customers, because of the excess supply. But after that it will automatically re-balance itself. and im sure the goodies wont be there anymore

Polycarbonate in great quality like Nokia is much better. Samsung polycarbonate is kind of fragile lo.

I think there will be a lot htc one casing, bumper or pouch around for you to protect your dear phone!!

Goodies? I never seen / get any from Samsung lo.

If market no demand, the only choice will be slash price, as I am pretty sure a lot units already in production by Samsung. Remember Samsung target 10m units sales in 1st month release.

Nokia can use rigid polycarbonate because they didn't have removable battery. S4 use back cover for this so it need to be light thin and bendable. And also cheap to replace in case it break cracked or scratched.
You cannot change the Nokia unibody shell if it got ugly scratch. If can also..the price will make you cry

But market a lot case / pouch for protection. Nothing much to worried.

This will bring you back to the first question.
Why do you cares that S4 is using cheap plastic IF you gonna slap casing over it..?
