Where is the sound comes from?

Is that possible to fix it? I suspect I have the same problem too. It will not sounds for first 15-20mins .. After sometimes, then it will sound when car moving. No sound when car stop. Really appreciate if someone can confirm.

Yes. I posted my noise issue here before. I sent to SC also, they jet up my car, check the exhaust pipe, adjust here and that to avoid it from knocking the car body. They also adjust the disk brake fin to avoid it make any noise. But not fixed.


Every morning, when I start drive, it has no sound. Only after 15, 20 mins .. The sound will start will klink klink klink but tiny sound only. I can sense it is something vibrate and comes from below wheel steering part ... or it could be from below car body or somewhere else... I know the sound generated by vibration. It also sounds even car run on smooth road. Just when the car stopped at junction or traffic light. It will gone.

I hope I will record the sound and send to you. Let me try it.

I am not sure this happen at the slope or not. Sometimes, when I turn off the engine when the gear set to P, yes.. the car move a bit to the front. But it is safe because my hand brake is pulled.

I heard got no 2.0. 1.6 and 1.8 only for K3.

You cannot think much. Anything can be happened. If you think you like this Forte, go and grab it. No one know about Naza K3. The more you think, the more you make yourself suffer. If you have more money and no rush to get car, then wait for K3.

You cannot wait for last minute so the forte price will drop. You might end up with out of stock.

And if you get K3, you might end up with too expensive...or Gov declare car loan interest increase... Or many reasons .... today you donno tomorrow story... what you think you want to do just go ahead.

Good to hear that. Another kaki using firestorm. You can check my last 2 tanks in fuelly to see my FC. Not much improved but definitely I can tell you the pick up especially cut car or climb hill get improved. Gear shift also get improved.

Mine is 1.6. And I installed SUPER firestorm which cost RM400++.

For my case, Yes. But not everyone same as me. So, not everyone will feel the different. I am the light foot driver, so I can feel the different. Just want to clarify or some other thinking I bluff them if they don't feel it.

You have to see the city situation. If no traffic jam or less traffic light, then your can run smoothly and the FC should be around 9L-10L/100km. Or 0.17-0.19 cent per km.

I drive mixed highway and city (average 38km/h for daily route) - FC hit 8L/100KM or 0.15cent per km. Of course must light foot.

Modification: Changed to lighter RIM (Good for city drive), Installed super firestorm.

52 litres - I always refill full tank when left one bar - RM75-80.

Let me tell you why I choose Forte 1.6SX. First, I like the design. 2nd, It is segment C car but selling at RM80K ++ price. No way you can find in Malaysia (after Inspira and Preve)

Of course, there are some common minor problem on Forte: 1 - Left pull problem, car move to the left. SC can fix it. 2 - Dashboard rattling sound. Can be fixed also if find the right SC.

Don't compare the FC with Altis and Civic. You know Japanese has very long time history in car mfg and engine refine. And you know those are extreme expensive if compare with Forte.

I love this car very much although having minor problem. Worth to get!

I went to Penang JNS to fix rattling sound. You must know where is the problem and tell them exactly. If you donno, they might ask you to leave your car there for few days for inspection.

How much we have to spend for Forte K&N Filter? Will it harm our engine?

I never can achieve 10k within 6 months. Normally have to send to SC not because 10k mileage but due date of 6 months period. So if I install K&N filter, can I change engine oil only every 6 months.
