wow Zerohunter, you really spend a lot of money to modify your car I heard that if you install firestorm, voltage stabilizer is not required anymore and it is more better for old car.

QUOTE(kidmad @ Apr 27 2013, 06:28 PM) now the problem is with the SC in puchong. i call them they no entertain me.. last when i check on tuesday they still have not gotten the police report. Not sure what is the procedure for these SC to claim warranty. already submitted all my docs to them. stevenc68 is right. Let me share with you my experience when kena langgar on my old previous myvi. I sent to perodua because want to get the genuine parts from perodua. But perodua told me they will not help me on insurance claim procedure and I have to settle by my own. Here are the steps1. Go to police station next day of accident to buy report. The report stated that is other party fault. get the report. prepare RM10/20 2. go to jpj, to obtain other party insurance information. prepare rm10/20 3. go back to perodua, handover 2 documents to perodua. 4. To make the claim faster, perodua said will claim from my own insurance first. So they send someone get detail from my own insurance. At the same time, they passed my document (1) and (2) to get let my insurance company claim from 3rd party insurance. 5. My own insurance company will release money immediately to perodua SC for repairing. This make repairing faster. 6. NCD will be set to 100% because they release money first 7. My insurance company will claim money from 3rd party insurance. take about 1-2 months 8. You need to verify and check always with your insurance company. after they managed to claim back from 3rd party insurance, make sure they reset your NCD back to 55% (or original discount NCD) With this process, I believe your SC will get money faster from your own insurance company and fix the car faster. You have to chase by yourself. That's why we have to drive carefully and avoid any accident even though is not our fault. What to do... Our process of claim is lousy. Some more you have to deal with many parties, Police, JPJ, Insurance, SC... Most of the time, they tell you: "relax lah ..." . Only you chase by yourself will expedite the claim. QUOTE(lingleeyen @ May 6 2013, 03:38 PM) I have found a shop selling new Lenso rims, 17". This is very good price already. I have to top up RM1000 to get my Lenso 17".The whole range of ori lenso regardless of the design is rm1450. trade in ori rim only is 600. I believe that the price is OK. Any one has done anything that can beat this price? |

QUOTE(lingleeyen @ May 7 2013, 12:12 AM) Of course can share. It is in Bukit Tinggi. Look for Ho Ho steamboat in Bukit Tinggi. It is in that area with the Hancook signboard. But as jes has mentioned, I have not gone into the details of everything. I even forgot to ask if they free allignment and balancing for me. I am just keeping this as KIV. Might change, might not change. Still in the struggle to justify this mod. I think GY Assymetry F1 is from German. It has good reviews from global. I have also asked:- Michelin PS3 - 460 each Michelin PLC - 430 each GY Assymetry F1 - 460 each (German made????) Think twice before you change to lighter RIM. Lenso is quite light. Lighter RIM make you drive better in city but not highway. With my lighther rim, I need to accelerate more because no momentum. But when you drive in City, it can simply move especially you move from stop point. If you always travel on highway, not necessary to change. |

QUOTE(lingleeyen @ May 7 2013, 11:28 AM) Besides the money, this is the point that I am thinking too. I am a 80-90% highway driver. Or I will try to drive more on highway and avoid city drive. The Lenso is 8kg. The stock is around 10kg? I have discarded the idea of changing rims earlier on, but this kind of poison will come poke you once in a while. The price that I accidentally got yesterday just ignited the will to change. I think it is a good price. I see. Personally, I felt the performance degraded on highway drive after I changed to Lenso Project D-Spec C. This is not the most beautiful but is the lighter compare to other lenso. The tyre shop let me try all the weight. But City Drive is good. It move faster from pickup and braking also easier. Compare to stock rim, not easy to break.http://www.lensowheel.com/Raiden-Sub-Brand...?SubCatID=20007 Then later, I installed firestorm -> I can feel this device give me more power on highway drive. Just accelerate and once stable, the car keep moving without constant accelerate. This post has been edited by bennedict82: May 7 2013, 12:56 PM |

QUOTE(laihuhng @ May 7 2013, 02:49 PM) Anyone knows if the bodykit given free by the SA is original or aftermarket part??? Is like that, if you want bodykit, the moment car arrive, the SA will send to car accessories pasang for you. So, don't be surprise if you see some mileage if you asked SA give you free tinted and bodykit.I was told that all are aftermarket. Is it true??? If you don't want bodykit, you may get cash back or discount up to RM1000. |
