What I know...

Based on 2023 EPF shariah announcement..

They went big on US technology equities... Because limited choice available for the fund to invest....

Probably one of the reasons why 2024 results for shariah dividend is superb....

that's my guess too. Maybe even underpaid dividend. Payout higher than ASB1 considered very give face already.

Yaloh. High dividend for everyone, MP pulak question. Should've taken 0.5% to topup MP's EPF for their hard work.

If we say 98% of earnings are distributed, am I to assume 2% are expense or are they just retained earnings?
*
I think Earnings is after deducting all expenses. You referring to Revenue?

I am referring to how can epf maximise our returns. They can’t jolly well spend the investment returns and then say the final amount distribution is such and such. There has to be metrics and deliverables there too no?
We focus only on 6.3 but I am asking how to make it 6.5 without needing the market to perform even better.

ok, i'm out of words. Usually i'm not that demanding.

yeah, there are others (especially in Malaysia) who think bank's will do poorly in falling rates... and doing well in raising rates environment... but I do not belong in this camp.

It's always the goldilocks range. Too low a rate means recession. Too high inflation.

So someone with few million is scared crazy over RM300k adjustment period that will only happen in 2028?

Just ask him to message me, I'll help him through this so he won't go crazy.

Increments of 100k a year starting 2026. That's why they're shitting bricks now.
