QUOTE(Explorer II @ Apr 11 2013, 07:12 PM) Was the hotel located near the Bermuda Triangle? Haha.. But seriously, that shouldn't be the case, from my experiences. it is sydney... no idea, if the supermarket does not accept ocbc as well then i would suspect that maybe they din update in their system that i'm travelling.... but then again it got accepted in supermarket but not the hotel...hmm..

i know it's reported before, but i just to report again to give ppl assurance... woolworths (supermarket) in australia is under 5%. the time of my travel, i manage to exchange AUD for 3.25, statement converted to MYR was 3.28 does that means the extra charges is actually 3%, because of the 0.03 exchange rate diff? perhaps ronnie can update first post with a section for those oversea transactions that's under 5%? i searched the forum for this information before i went over sydney and it was reported as 5%. that's why i decided to try. if it's in first post, it's easier This post has been edited by cempedaklife: Apr 13 2013, 05:10 PM

QUOTE(gsc @ Apr 13 2013, 09:47 PM) How did you get extra charges is 3%. Your currency exchange rate was 3.25 and the OCBC statement shown exchange rate of 3.28. The diffrence is 0.03 sen not 3%. The exchange rate difference in % = 100 x (3.28-3.25)/3.25Â = 0.923% I dunno how to calculate. Hence the question. Thanks. Lol. QUOTE(ronnie @ Apr 13 2013, 09:57 PM) MCC Code used by merchants is STANDARD around the World... We could add Overseas Merchants but the list will be very short (with less updates) That's just a suggestion. Perhaps it's good for ppl like me who doesn't usually use credit card oversea but only use it when someone reported somewhere its 5%. Lol. Just dine at the curve. Receive rebate SMS before the cashier hand me the credit card and receipt for me to sign. That was really fast. Lol.

QUOTE(sj0217 @ May 1 2013, 09:45 PM) The cash back 20% for dining at The curve, is this rebate amount will combine together with monthly cash back which capped RM50 or it separately? separately, and it usually will only reflect in the next statement or so after ur current statement with ur transaction.. basically, the rebate wun be in the same statement as your transaction.
