from what i see, the s4 is a smaller note 2, and larger s3. most of the new features and software enhancements.
another premium suite update to the s3 and it will have the same features as the s4. do correct me if im wrong. smile.gif

Definately right. Now the wow factor is simply because it is Samsung. But don't get me wrong. In terms of technology and software., Samsung is still ahead. But gonna wait for htc one and s4 and will b deciding later.

Agreed. The technology and software do amazes us, but the design is really a turn down for me. For the price i am paying i would want something premium, like the One anodized aluminium, instead of something plastic. Same here, will be considering the One and S4. biggrin.gif

bear in mind customer support is important, software updates is what make apple special and samsung is leading in android market. Htc have been poor with android version and battery life (unremovable), as the better the phone' spec is, the more power they consume. i dont think anyone like to carry an external power bank all the time.

wait till they get full review before buying smile.gif smile.gif

yup, HTC is slow in releasing updates and from previous reviews on their battery life isnt satisfying. as for the specs, i cannot agree with you. look at the exynos octa for example. it has a quad ARM-15 for heavy tasking and another quad ARM-7 for light or normal usage, which suppose to give better battery life ( wait for reviews ). another similar example would be the tegra 3 an 4. in my opinion it still goes down to how the software controls and utilise the power usage. smile.gif

Quite disappointed with the exterior design of the S4, really can't differentiate it with the S3.

As HTC, LG and Sony has quite redesigned their phones, it's weird Samsung didn't do the same.

updates could be or could not be important, very much depended on user.

however battery is otherwise, im sure that everyone prefer a phone that can at least last a full day (16 hours) of 'medium' usage.

i do hope that they focus more on optimizing the 'great' spec and battery life, rather than keep introducing 'useless' function where you wont use smile.gif or power saving mode (gimmick) that lower your core speed to save battery sweat.gif.

depends on the updates, bug fixes and battery life improvement is important, but i doubt not everyone would be a tech person who checks for updates now and then biggrin.gif

well, depends on the user, but i would prefer to calculate based on the on-screen time. you wont be using the phone for a straight 16 hours right ? laugh.gif

yup, TBH, i never turn on the power saving mode after finding out it kills the performance of the phone. ( very noticeable lags )
