QUOTE(eszol @ Feb 10 2013, 02:04 AM) Tried ady ah? I still don't get the hybrid idea. Is it like a basic stock rom with some aosp feature? i've just done selecting the options on aroma. booting up now. maybe for some they want the vanilla experience but then want the stock samsung features too. that i'll update you later. currently booting my phone up. |

QUOTE(eszol @ Feb 10 2013, 02:08 AM) Alright bro. Do let us updated with ur progress. Sadly i don't have amazing internet connection and it is quite a hassle to download anything. Tqvm on ur free review it took me a good 3 hours to download ultima since im at my hometown. miss my internet connection in KL anyway, yea, depends on what you select in the aroma installer, you do get best of both worlds. do try it out. |

QUOTE(Andrewtst @ Feb 22 2013, 11:08 PM) The gapps I install was from the dev link. it shall be not any issue use 4.2.2 gapps in 4.2.1, it basically nothing much different. tried it already. feels great being able to switch the ui modes By the way, my Nexus 10 was running AOKP 4.2.2 but the gapps was 4.2.1 -- haha! |

from what i see, the s4 is a smaller note 2, and larger s3. most of the new features and software enhancements.
another premium suite update to the s3 and it will have the same features as the s4. do correct me if im wrong. |

QUOTE(mrvkool @ Mar 15 2013, 01:31 PM) Definately right. Now the wow factor is simply because it is Samsung. But don't get me wrong. In terms of technology and software., Samsung is still ahead. But gonna wait for htc one and s4 and will b deciding later. Agreed. The technology and software do amazes us, but the design is really a turn down for me. For the price i am paying i would want something premium, like the One anodized aluminium, instead of something plastic. Same here, will be considering the One and S4. |

QUOTE(Alexdino @ Mar 15 2013, 01:49 PM) bear in mind customer support is important, software updates is what make apple special and samsung is leading in android market. Htc have been poor with android version and battery life (unremovable), as the better the phone' spec is, the more power they consume. i dont think anyone like to carry an external power bank all the time. yup, HTC is slow in releasing updates and from previous reviews on their battery life isnt satisfying. as for the specs, i cannot agree with you. look at the exynos octa for example. it has a quad ARM-15 for heavy tasking and another quad ARM-7 for light or normal usage, which suppose to give better battery life ( wait for reviews ). another similar example would be the tegra 3 an 4. in my opinion it still goes down to how the software controls and utilise the power usage. wait till they get full review before buying |
