Hairline cracked just appeared on my S3 also out of a sudden.. Never even dropped it before. Mine's at the bottom near the usb port also. Something like yours..

can i check if i were to Flash a custom rom eg. Revolution onto my current stock JB 4.1.1, then will i lose all, then will i lose all my contacts and all my app data too?

i have already done a backup using titanium backup... so will i be able to restore onto since i have made a change to a custom rom...

My fren on nexus4 said that from 4.2 onwards there is no more stock browser for them and was replaced with chrome. Not sure how will our Samsung work.
