Hi guys. My wife's 6 month old maxis S3 just mysteriously died last night.

Stock firmware, rooted just to clear a clipboard issue but no custom firmware whatsoever. It just died. Removed battery, changed with another battery, no response.

We are sending it back to Maxis for warranty claim. Looks like what I've been reading online is starting to happen.

Is it safe to root S3 using app called Exynos Abuse? Any tutorial? And why cant my phone read mmc?

The problem is my family is not very tech savvy, but I will try to instruct them how to search for the IMEI number I guess. I was worried about needing to use the S3 itself to send the sms but I suppose if use any other phone it's ok?

Your phone need to be root, and run custom deodexed ROM. You can try WanamLite ROM which default support any apps in multiwindow.

Stock was odexed and cannot apply those mod by XDA developer.

Rooted my phone and upgraded to 4.1.2

Installed Titanium to del some bloatware...ended up accidentally deleted something, lost my multi window function despite turning the function on at notification bar and also settings menu.

Any viable solution to this guys?

Yup..using Butterfly now though still my eyes open for Xperia Z, One M7 and S4..lolz
Sense 4+ quite okay..no lagging like old Sense UI.
