You are going to spend a fair bit of money. So, I suggest you read the first page if you have no time or inclination to read the whole thread. This would answer most if not all your concerns.

As for the pricing and where to get one, search the GS here under Samsung S3. The prices there are some of the lowest you will ever find.

If I don't know any better, I would think you are in politics. Why do selective quoting? You have penned more than 1 post. I quoted yours to which I replied which you intentionally or otherwise conveniently forgot. And when you are in defense mode, make sure you make factual statements lest you be found out. Wow, you are more political than I have envisaged you to be. Playing on everyone else's sentiments is such a damn good strategy to deploy. I learn. And capitalizing on the play of words though off tangent if one cares to analyze, will surely win hearts.

From what you have stated, you just updated from ICS to JB 4.1.1. Now it is requesting you to update to 4.1.2 which is the latest. Please do so as it may eradicate the charging problem that you reported. If it doesn't, bring it back to the SC.

I can't help on your query but would like to ask (perhaps remind) you. Since you have already sent in and was rejected, what good does it do now? If you manage to do what you seek, they would have your records already and thus would not entertain you anymore.

This is also meant to solicit help from others who may be able to help you on the issue I just raised.

1. Try rebooting, if it doesn't help
2. Try factory resetting, again if it cannot solve your problem
3. Send back to SC. Probably a hardware issue.

It is a known phenomenon that either the charging plug or cable is faulty. If they are within 6 months of purchase, you can make a warranty claim.
