anyone using G+ instant upload?
my setting on the instant upload:
-full size
-upload photo/video thru wifi only
but once i was on 3G and i took a picture, instant upload in Google Account Sync always has an sync icon without spinning.
the problem is, this make the phone keep waking up every minute to sync (sync icon not spinning) . only after i turn on wifi, then the photo baru can be sync-ed. once completed the sync icon baru disappear.
you guys can try and report here. because i found out that wakes the phone while it is waiting to be sync.

i did clear the data/cache before testing. but still the same. btw i am on PA3 rom + motley kernel
yes, only wifi and full size photos.
now i am testing at standard size lower res unlimited photos.. see whether still the same problem or not.
edited: problem still there after change to lower res photo back up too.
in BBS -Alarm- Android wake up 20 times within 10minutesso i summarise the problem i found out:
when google+ instant upload auto sync is turn on and setting is:
-full size/low size photo
-upload only via wifi
ok. i took a photo when i was in 3G network.
in setting-account-google-instant upload,
a sync icon without spinning is appeared beside the check box.
and the last synced time always updated to current time. means at least every minute the instant upload wake up the android to check whether it is ready to be synced but the sync icon isnt spinning and without 'sync now...' wording.
once i turn on wifi,
the sync icon starts to spin and 'sync now...' came out .
once the sync is completed, the sync icon disappear and the 'sync now...' change to 'last sync time xxx'
let look at BBS:
1. before turn on wifi, in BBS-alarms- Android (wake up 20+times within 10minutes) when syn icon without spinning appeared
2. after turn on wifi and after it sync completed, in BBS-alarms- Android (wake up 3-5times within 10minutes)
so if i left the phone on 3G mode after taking picture for few hours.. the wake up time is probably very high and it might drain the battery. below are some screenshoots for reference:
took a picture while i was in 3G data network (instant upload set to upload via wifi only)
turned on wifi for 10minutes and instant upload completed upload within that 10min
