I dont really understand your question
You must choose recovery to boot to recovery mode by pressing the vol buttons at fastboot mode

Been having screen freeze for the the past 2~3 days. Maybe due to Touch Control. My unit is rooted but everything else stock except for the "modified" kernel to run the Touch Control app. Anybody else facing similar problem?

I'm not sure whether if they will request & check the receipt when you bring it for servicing; as the registration form includes a "Purchase Date" field.
