Marketer For me, it takes about 4 hours to charge from ~30% to 100% via laptop USB.
Nice USB cable you're selling, btw...

My WiFi signal greys out when I'm connected to public WiFi spot (i.e. restaurants). It works perfectly fine at home. polarzbearz : At the first page on how to receive OTA notification, you might want to add "You might need to repeat the steps a few times". I did a few times to receive the notification.

QUOTE(MrTaxxi @ Feb 19 2013, 03:57 PM) it is actually not bad...did u buy it? is it good? Nope. Don't really like neoprene as it tends to be loose after awhile. QUOTE(daryl020189 @ Feb 19 2013, 03:59 PM) Is it ok to use 3rd party micro USB cable for charging? Will it somehow shorten the battery life? I've been using for a couple of weeks. So far not a problem...

QUOTE(benny888 @ Feb 23 2013, 09:41 PM) Always do a nandroid backup from recovery mode Useful in case your phone fail to reboot n you can restore back your whole rom from recovery mode In an unrelated question, if I do a nandroid backup, can I skip the titanium backup app? I'm just wondering which is better in terms of backup? This post has been edited by goliath: Feb 23 2013, 10:02 PM

QUOTE(azrash @ Feb 23 2013, 10:22 PM) titanium backup can extract the apps + data from nandroid. I keep a lean nandroid and backup those apps with TB. Use what works best with your work flow. Alright. Thanks for the info. This post has been edited by goliath: Feb 23 2013, 11:38 PM

Been having screen freeze for the the past 2~3 days. Maybe due to Touch Control. My unit is rooted but everything else stock except for the "modified" kernel to run the Touch Control app. Anybody else facing similar problem?

QUOTE(eNOOBz @ Feb 24 2013, 05:51 PM) Yups. I face same issue too. Make sure u put the screen face away from your body inside your pocket. If the screen touch your body for a long time it will freeze and require restart. Sorry for my bad english. Thanks for the tip. Will try your method and see. QUOTE(KanGz @ Feb 24 2013, 05:55 PM) i use franco-r83, so far no problem till now. Will try custom kernel when I'm more confident with Android (as in messing around with it). I'm still at infant stage.
