Whoops. Typo error. You can't get coins in ASI games. And if the used game still have the leaflet and the code is unredeemed, then you can redeem.

But what about AA5? Considering that it's only going digital. WIll I be able to download it off the US e-shop?

The ability to Purchasing Eshop game in US Eshop is a concern of most Malaysian 3DS user if not all. It's not like Ace Attorney 5 is the only game out in eshop and no body try to purchase game in eshop.

Yeah. Plenty of people successfully purchasing game in US Nintendo Eshop. Just reload yourself with some NINTENDO ESHOP Cash Code and wait for Ace Attorney to release and you can immediately purchase the game.
