i tried to register my 3ds xl at maxsoftonline.com, but it said my serial number is invalid. any particular reason for tis to happen?

once it was available, took out a portion of my salary and buy straightaway.
reached home, put catridge inside..........cannot open... T-T

Not too sure actually. It should be no issues for you to register your console there (since the website itself says so)

does connecting to eshop via the console consider as registering the 3ds?

hmm...i cant register now. im concern if my one has been reigstered before or refurbished ver. although the box doesnt state its a refurbished ver (saw ur faq)...perhaps i shud contact maxsoftonline support for assistance....

u mention before your 3ds can be switch to canada region so i assume that your 3ds is US region.. can confirm your 3ds region?
so what region is that game you bought in local store?
did the pokemon show up after you insert the game into your 3ds?

let me help in answering tis one.

the region setting that we can change does not enable us to play other region game. it only enabling us to connect to eshop.

thanks for telling... now i know more about eshop...
what i want is the story teller to confirm
1.his 3ds region
2.region of the game he buy..

as far as i know local seller usually sell US games

He probably bought the EU copy. Makes more sense.

3ds region = US
pokemon game region = JPN T-T

Feel like tring my debit on US eshop...
So mahal the price for the reload card now

Never feel worth it since you pay something higher than the actual price. Need to try other methods like Bestbuy or something
