Im not sure this been told before or not, but most of the people seem to ignore this, you need to check the alignment of the touch screen (secon screen below), open up the Game Notes application (the pencil icon) in the touch screen area, then open one empty note, then draw a straight line from edge of the screen to another edge of the screen, make sure the line are properly draw with your stylus. This is to check if the touch screen alignment ok or not, applicable to new unit also. if you can't draw any line then the unit have a problem.

Has anyone did system transfer? wanna ask if I try to transfer my 3ds data to my new 3ds xl, will my old FC from the old 3DS be used in the new 3DS XL?

Should transfer as far as i've tried.
System transfered my data from normal 3ds to 3ds xl.
Everything like eshop data, friends code, save game, street pass data is intact.
The only thing that didnt save that I notice is parental control settings lol.
Should take note that once system transfer is done the old ds data will be wiped clean.

Yea knew about that data wiped, well gotta play my pokemon on my 3ds for now, hope my 3DS XL arrive soon...
