1Q window washing is still on , for those short March Futures , I do admire their braveness.

Can be super rich or super poor .

But the odd is clearly against them hmm.gif

From what I know...
- Demand in EU drops because of weak economy, and because some countries, e.g. Germany have reduced subsidy for solar panel
- Chinese solar panel makers - subsidized by the government - sell their products at cut throat price

Even if demand is booming in Asia, Panasonic may find it difficult to compete with the Chinese companies...

Lots of china solar makers are declaring bankruptcy left and right now... demand is also dropping in Europe as EU has cut the subsidy for green power.

The latest is Suntech Power, the world's 2nd largest solar PV maker in the world. Most solar panel makers now is selling below production cost & giving huge credit to sustain volume. Bad for manufacturers good for customers.

World largest PV maker, also in china , LDK is now negotiating with bankers on it's $3.1 billion debt, which it might have trouble to repay.

Any comment regarding STAR (6084)? I think it is undervalued, P/E 9.8 Dividend Yield 7.08. Is it good to accumulate some for long term investment? It has the economic moat in msia, every household and library also buying the newspaper. Personally i also reading this newspaper whether hardcopy or softcopy.
