QUOTE(Boon3 @ Mar 27 2013, 01:46 PM) Ah Tan, In the end, i still don't like its business nature (For medicine manufacturer)I dunno leh. Maybe that's a possibility. I used to have a position in AhPek Healthcare. Today I look back, I am not too pleased with myself and how I played the stock. But i still prefer those in medical service industry, Eg.KPJ, IHH etc. Mainly because these company enjoy higher profit margin. Manufacturer need to dump in a lot of money in R&D and the result is still in a huge uncertainty. As for Pharma, their main customer is Government, so u should know what's the major risk |

QUOTE(jy1905 @ Mar 27 2013, 11:21 AM) from what i understood from the article, it is booming only in japan because of the tariff given by the gov which is the highest compared to other countries I do not think Panamy own those solar asset.this is also partly because of the public sentiments who want to reduce reliance on nuclear power and the japanese are weird, they are willing to pay more for their local brands. the most simple example is groceries they are willing to pay a few times more for garlics grown locally compared to those imported from china but my question was, does panamy own the solar panel production company in malaysia or it is the pana japan? As can't find any mention about solar manufacturing in the annual report, nor Q report. Correct me if I am wrong. Panamy is actually quite small only, paid up capital only less than hundred million. |

The ongoing Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition, which will only end this Saturday, as well as the upcoming Asean Summit to be held in Brunei on Apr 24 may also prove to be a dampener to dissolution plans.
"If you are a leader of a caretaker government, you cannot enter into an agreement with any parties," he said, adding that defence was a multi billion-ringgit industry with a man costly deals to be made. "I'm also sure that Najib would want to attend the Asean Summit as a full-fledged leader," he said. However, he said that it was unlikely that Parliament would be dissolved Wednesday, or else there would have been indications by now. QUOTE(yhtan @ Mar 27 2013, 02:07 PM) I guess u have been holding a substantial amount of cash Err... This year i've only shop a counter I think market tends to surprise more. The more people expects the market to react a certain manner, the more the market tends to surprise. Right now, I am still having an open mind approach about how the market will react. Having said all those wind talk, if you look at a lot of individual stock charts, their charts not too bad leh. Lot's of opportunity to make money if one stays focus and have an open mind. For example. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « |
