Cos its downgrading on some parts especially the screen size and battery life.

What's the screen size?
Yes, 2300 mAh, I'm not so keen on that...

Plus, no memory card expansion.

since using a Note 2, I think I can never go back to smaller screen....

Lets dream that samsung n HTC will merge so we can get an ideal phone.

I dun see the real benefit or added usefulness of a curved display.

other than the cool factor. Getting a Full HD display on Note III won't create enough desire for me to upgrade from Note II too. Hope Samsung can surpass our expectations.

yea … wow factor depends individual I guess….
A phone equipped with 8 cores and 2ghz processor speed does not give me wow… it is just like enhance version of Note 2 LOL… what Im expecting samsung is to come out something that other phones don’t have LOL… something unique and useful like the function of the S-Pen for phablet, smart stay, smart rotation, palm swipe... etc. Outlook wise, plastic or not, ugly or not.. not so important to me haha as long as the specs are WOW.. .and durable to use ok already
Well, we are at the limit of 32bit ARM. I suppose the best we can get is 3Gb RAM and a faster CPU, then FullHD display.
When 64bit ARM comes out, we should be able to leave our notebooks behind. Even then, with 3Gb RAM and 2GHz CPU, with Ubuntu or some linux, we can already replace our notebooks for some use caes.
So there isn't any really compelling reason for an upgrade since quad core and 2Gb is plenty fast performance. Well of course humanly we always want the latest shiny, so let's see if the spirit or the flesh is stronger hahahaha.
