and what is interests me is... "This has been the most unsettled season, both personally and as a team, since I joined the club." what is he thinking though..... |

Reina, he's like gettting worse game by game. Don't know whether his mind is still at Liverpool anymore or he is really dreaming of going back to Barca.

Now who's the culprit? MU, MC, Arses or Chelsea? Calciopoli relegated Old Lady to Serie B and other teams minus points. If it's the Arses, then we got a chance to go top 4. HAHA |

Danish newspaper Ekstra Bladet has claimed the Champions League game in England allegedly involving match-fixing was Liverpool against Debrecen in 2009.
Their report places no suspicion on Liverpool whatsoever and instead claims Debrecen's Montenegrin goalkeeper Vukasin Poleksic was ‘bribed to ensure the match ended with at least three goals’. QUOTE How Brendan Rodgers is becoming the new Rafa Benitez at Anfield http://www.thisisanfield.com/2013/02/how-b...tez-at-anfield/By Kopology on February 4, 2013 No sooner had Brendan Rodgers been appointed Liverpool manager, than the internal clocks of many Liverpool fans began to ominously tick. Modern football is a ruthless game, especially for managers sandwiched between fans demanding instant success and owners quick to scapegoat them when it isn’t forthcoming. At Liverpool, fan expectation correlates not with the club’s stature or current playing squad, but with the glorious achievements of an ever more distant past. With Liverpool’s illustrious history as a backdrop, Brendan Rodgers looked like a child at the wheel of a juggernaut as the new Liverpool manager. A man out of his depth. An impostor. But this wasn’t just because of who Brendan Rodgers was. It was in part because of who he wasn’t: Rafael Benitez. I believe we're in good hands. |

Football purists like me may not like to hear it but match fixing is very real, especially in the bigger leagues. It's why my mates bet only on smaller ones like the Danish or Swedish leagues. Why do you reckon they allow bets up to the 85th minute? All those last minute equalisers in stoppage time aren't always the stuff of legends. Every other sport has been corrupted so why not the most watched sport in the world? Why haven't FIFA implemented goal line technology or video replays after all these years when sports like rugby and tennis have?
Football today is a lucrative business and that's exactly why the syndicates have come sniffing. |

QUOTE(red_brick_zero @ Feb 5 2013, 06:49 AM) Likewise. The boss has my full backing and support. I had my apprehensions initially but after listening to the man speak, I find him to be a very intelligent manager with a strong belief in his football philosophies. Let's give Brendan his full 3-year term I say. |
