Oh ya, Raikkonen, I double checked my aggressiveness settings...it was 75%. I dun think there's much difference actually...

Even if you put 100%...still 2 seconds faster on pole.
In the race..easily overtook others and win the race
But the bad part was, when the red lights go out...car behind easily overtake you
even you on pole.
Crap.

Okay people, we need to appoint the official host for our league. We need at least 2 names. I will mantain the league leaderboard and result.

Oh and i totally i agree that we need a 5 minute warm up before the race.

5min warm up will b good enuf...the 5min we can use to adjust any setting,strategy and fueling...

juz now hv test run wif pezman(alain) in silverstone..he is using manual n quite stable...watch out f1c members..hehe

Then i more charm liao! tot wanna win the title this season, but sadly too many geng ppl joining in.. "If i cant win, I quit!" just like michael schumacher said earlier of the season...

But for me, i think McLaren has many issue, erm... mostly on reliability issue, i think i'll be like Kimi, always out of the race..

pezman using manual + momo, he should be very fast..
i tried keyboard and steering, found out that using steering + pedal can do late braking, is it something to do with the controller sensitivity issue???

About the time, I'll have to check with you guys if we're in different time zone. Mine +07:00 hours, Bankok Hanoi Jakarta. Evenings are no problem, I race a lot in daytime and evenings, even until 2-3-4 a.m sometimes until my eyes pop out.


Yep, I use manual shifting. Combined with braking, it can save your ass from slipping and spinning, automatic won't do it as well, if it can. I rely on sound and red lights at the top of the screen with peripheral vision, but mostly the revs.

Left paddle=Downshift
Right= Upshift
Left buttons
1-unused yet
2-Neutral (and Neytral+downshift=reverse, then neutral+upshift to get to 1st gear)
3 unused yet
Right buttons
1- Limiter for pit
2-unused yet
3- Get pit crew ready

Do use the latest version of Logitech software for the wheel and use it to start the game.

I prefer the cockpit view, I dunno, I always hated arcade view and other modes. I prefer to play the game as the driver would see it, my opinion is everybody should use the same view mode but it's no big deal. I can actually perform better with the view from the nose cam, I used that only in GP2 and 3 (wider view, seems closer as well) but you have to live without visual aids...

I'll drive with a keyboard once all cars on the road are driven with one
Sensitivity is the main advantage with using wheel and pedals, you can play with these settings withing the game options. Using sensitivity settings and wheel lock settings will allow you much finer tuning which is non-existent with a keyboard.

I.m a bit confused about best laps in F1C. Are the best laps shown different if you switch season?

How do you race after the red lights goes OFF?

Did you guys see how Jarno Trulli race last night?
Using the right clip behind his steering to upshift.
Either that's his driving style or Toyota has differ mechanical stuffs.
Don't quite see how MSC or Kimi do it...maybe the same.

Ya.. rules and assistance are apply to everyone. However, for assistance setting, if host set it to "allowed", meaning that we can change the assistance by F1 - f12 keys.

Yup, you can switch pitlane assistance on and off, same too gear shifting

Ya.. Agree with evohahn. Even its only 5 min, but we can know the track condition, test the track and change our pit strategy too..

Left paddle downshift, right paddle upshift. I doubt the f1 paddles are something new, I thought all steering wheels on F1 cars had been like this for years. My old thrust master wheel I used the paddles for brake and throttle as they did not click like the momo does now, they were incremental. The pedals are a big advantage.

The only aid I use is Traction Control. Clutch if needed.

I simply am in Neutral, rev up and click on the right paddle for 1st gear and then it's bye bye Raikkonen
