To all Unifi reseller/agent

My office need to upgrade from stremyx to unifi but after many contractors came, all failed to install because they were unable to lay cables underground as the manholes on the street were sealed.

Some contractor willing to do the job but quote sky high charges for installation in which is out of our budget.

Please PM if any of you guys are installer and interested.

tks

i'm thinking about changing my unifi router (right now using DIR-615) but don't know what good router to choose. any suggestion? budget between RM100 - 200. and what is custom firmware for unifi? does that mean we need to download different firmware before the router can be used?

Hi, just wondering anybody else here plays world of warcraft/d3/dota2 (any blizzards online game) and been experiencing high latency issue since last night???

I am on 5 mbps connecting from OUG my usual latency are around 200-220 since 1 am last night suddenly spiked to 400 ms game lat this is really bothering me, I can't play with this kind of latency. Because it coincides with wow having new patch this week so i am not sure if its the game servers itself or Unifi... But even on d3 my latency has risen

Is there anything I can fix myself or do I have to call Unifi, put through the loop, will they even know what I am talking about before theres an actual fix?

I am connected to the Los Angeles, CA datacenter for world of warcraft.

This is my home latency

I'm using TP-Link WR841ND (Unifi ready) for about RM85 last year. No complaints so far.

Or you can consider TL-WR1043ND. The price is around RM150.
