my instructions has the link to stock kernel which you can download and flash it..the filename starts with CWM (clockworkmod) but you can flash it with TWRP, no worries...for power.grouper just put it in the folder i mention using apps like root explorer or es file explorer...
*
Oh ya one more question, is the stock kernel compatible with nexus 3G model?

Google has released the stock image for 4.2.2
Do download it and keep it in PC incase you ever need to restore your tablet if bricked

Yes you can but it will wipe your internal storage + unroot your device if I am not mistaken.

Just for 0.0.1 updated version, I  believe it's only minor improvement.

1) lock screen widget fixed
2) now Wi-Fi & Bluetooth on notification act as toggle.
*
My Wi-Fi also no drop when I'm holding N7 with my left hand. I notice Wi-Fi drop when at v4.2.1.

Oh ok .. no problem. Can root again & use TB to restore apps. A bit of a hassle but this way is easier for me i think. smile.gif

my unit cannot charge when its on. must switch off to charge
already using official charger and cable sad.gif

i think its a software issue as pc can still recognise it when in bootloader mode.
*
Check your USB cable, it can be a faulty cable which has loose connection? Mine has this problem when charging, no problem after change new cable.

The d/loaded 274mb file is a zip file and not .tgz file. How to convert to .tgz file? rclxub.gif

YES. Use Nexus7 toolkit
Copy this tgz file into the subfolder " put your google stock image here" in the nexus 7 toolkit folder in your PC
Launch N7 toolkit and just select option to flash google stock image

Midway you have option not to wipe your internal memory - choose NO if you want to keep your stuffs
But your apps will be deleted = restore these from titanium backup
Root will be removed
Use the N7 toolkit to root again / reinstall CWM - select 4.2.1 as software not updated yet

Yeah... Now left about 45% for 10 hour with I can say around 10% of usage. Just web browsing.

The battery seems ok, left 44% for 8 hours which 80% of usage.

Just follow uncle benny's reply (#615), put the zip you just downloaded into "put_google_factory_image_here" folder and follow the instructions given, the toolkit will do the rest for you.

tilapia = codename for nexus 7 3g. nakasi = codename for nexus 7 wifi. You cannot flash nakasi firmware without possibly bricking your device or cause some other weird problem.
