just got my new n7 yesterday. it performed OTA updates to 4.2.2. question now is how can i root from this version?

That time I have triple confirmed with you that aokp can update without wiping data,only cache and dalvik,after that I got this error: unfortunately,keyboard(aosp) has stopped working,luckily I did a backup

weird.. i'm not receiving any update after i flash my n7 to stock.

I have flashed to PA 3+ 4.2.2,so far the best ROM,even better than my favorite AOKP ROM,but how to disable the pie?cause I got lmt launcher already

Uncle can i flash this stock image with Nexus 7 Tookit to update to 4.2.2? Thx

p/s : sorry i dont know what term used for nexus.. (samsung = stock rom) (nokia = firmware)   

My Nexus 7 Toolkit 2.0 cannot root my device. Now d/loading v4.0.

I'm using carbon rom, just found out that I can't switch on my bluetooth. From the Off sign I slide across to On but it just does not light up and the button goes back to Off. Any carbon rom uses with the same issue?

send my N7 to Asus center at lowyat yday, to fix my speaker buzzing problem

the catch here is my unit is rooted, i specifically told the lady that my unit is rooted, do u guys still accept for service? she said yes, as long as u didnt touch the hardware..

i tot they dont service rooted devices, just like Apple void warranty for jailbreak devices..

so far ive tested the screen and dead pixel..only the ips screen causing problem others seem to be okay and for speaker its seems to be very soft not sure its supposed to be very soft in term of volume..as what the seller told me they will change a new unit on the spot for me..they have to give me a new unit as i just bought it like yesterday 

For sure they need to give u new unit. If i were u, i will never take the thing at the 1st place, if he dont want to change, then i will not give the money, go to he*l with open seal, cannot change policy. I had been searchng for option for so long, compared N7 with galaxies tablet and ipad mini. At last choose N7 because of the review from users, although got downside no rear camera, which i really need.
Any ways to upgrade the speaker? i need it to watch movies sometimes. what if used with earphones? better?

is it necessary charge 8 hours for newly bought unit? or charge until 100% is good enough

paid app is it? if there were no improvement, i guess other option is external speaker or earphone only la. the biggest reason why i choose N7 over other tablet is because the support it will get from google since it is a flagship device, hopefully mine will come with zero defect. 

when my nexus goes into sleep mode, the only way to wake it up is to press the power button?

I suppose a lot of people is worried about warranty issue but the fact is Nexus 7 carries international warranty and our Asus Malaysia SC do honor that warranty. Even those units that came through Newegg and another international channels

Your first set got other defect other than mobo?

I bought nexus 7 3g on lowyat. Just received it today. Turned it on- charged-tried connecting to wifi-failed-turned it off. And now I can't turn it bak on again.

Any idea on what should I do ? Should I go to asus service centre and use the warranty ?

Tried it, nothing appeared on the screen.
