No laaa
take few hours ma since the ferry is quite fast what?
have u taken the ferry before?
it's free from Penang to mainland hehehehe  wink.gif At least u save

i heard if we want to park our car at the parking area at Kuala Kedah or Kuala Perlis...
we have to leave our car key, isn't it?
and how much is the parking rate?
*
i heard it dont have a schedule, once the ferry is full they just moving. And it not really like the ferry in penang there, it is a small cargo ship which will stop at the Langkawi port.

4) Langkasuka

Any suggestion?

How is Awana Porto Malai because airAsia package for two people is only RM 400++? Anyone been there b4?

The service is quite okay.. heck got no service at all except rroom service..
The food is erm... rolleyes.gif Can eatla.. I have only tried their buffet breakfast.. shakehead.gif

The normal rooms are not that nicela the view.. If u are lucky u might get those at ground floor which are the deluxe rooms, which is much larger and it has a better view (swimming pool lol).

And it is not really at the beach. U have to walk abit to get to Pantai Tengah and a its quite near to Pantai Cenang, the most happening beach..

I have already booked my tickets for the Langkawi trip... Now only a bit *duh* with regards to the hotel...

I'm undecided between the Awana, Langkasuka, and probably Federal Villa or Holiday Villa... What are your recommendations, guys? Of course the really top-end ones like Four Seasons, Datai, Andaman, Tg. Rhu, and the two Sheratons are out lah! laugh.gif

im still expecting some guides on a 3-4 stars hotel which is located near the beach and has a nice beach view.

my choice was awana porto malai in the beginning but some one just mentioned in the post that this hotel is not near the beach.

my budget is RM 150 per night . Can i get any hotel near the beach for this rate per night?

any nice chalets near the beach?

I think langkasuka is the best bet, for that price (which is also my budget, btw!)... Check out the "Travel Times" section of the NST today, there are several ads by Langkawi hotels showing their package and room deals...
