Hello my fellow experienced LYN travellers!!!

anybody know the charges and where to book for a one day trip to pulau payar for snorkeling? cant seem to find any info on the net.

Pulau payar has been discuused here much ealrier...numerous time already if u read pages b4 this.

Depending whether you are going till the island beach or at the floating platform..Floating platform, the price is about Rm180- Rm220 & for landing at the beach, it about RM100-RM120 but need to nego kaw-kaw!

I hope this hasnt been asked before, but are those rates ex-penang? Which one would you recommend - the beach landing of the floating platform? the price is almost half you know! hehe. for snorkeling purposes only.

That's ex- Kuah Jetty at Langkawi...I even got RM90/pax which for me is overpriced compare to those in Redang/Perhentian & thus I miss the chance ~2 yrs ago.

guys..
i plan to having a budget traveling to langkawi 3d2n during this deepavali holiday..
em..i m worry about is tat there will cost up for rent car and the hotels?
i plan to stay in langkasuka,its tat cheap..(or got other economical hotels ma?)
we will take bus to alor setar and then take bus frm alor setar bus stations to jetty..is tat ok?
can someone help estimate my travel fee for 3d2n for a economical package?
(gt 5 person and plan to rent a kancil)

Don't play play with rule. Langkawi still have traffic police. I see many traffic booking and road block during big holiday.

Need to check one.

But I think still can 'settle' without license.
Those Mat Salleh also can drive motor bikes there.

Those mat Salleh atleast ada license-lah..If no license, take risk loh & avoid from getting stop or turn back if u see police in front...

They don't suka suka close cable car, it's scheduled for maintenance lah. But the sky bridge, this one no guarantee, they can close it without prior notice, normally when the weather is turning bad or if it's windy or cloudy.
