Telaga tujuh a big no no if you wants to go
Nothing much except potholes of river flow, which you just managed to soak yourself. And there's even a tourist ask me where is telaga tujuh, and i said it is here, while i am holidaying at there doh.gif

I go to Langkawi to visit my grandma every year. Have been to most of the attractions at one point or another. I remembered that before the duty-free period, there are beaches along Jln Kuah. I just cross the road from grandma's house and it's the beach already. Now, the beaches are reclaimed and replaced by shoplots.

You can settle everything from the jetty in Kuala Perlis wink.gif
or in Langkawi jetty itself.

I normally take the early morning ferry from Kuala Perlis or Kuala Kedah. I believe they start at 7am, or earlier if it's peak season.

Why not just take the ferry directly from Penang to Langkawi? The journey should take about 2.5/3 hrs if i'm not mistaken.

There are a lot of rental cars available at the Langkawi jetty.

You can rent from Kuala Perlis jetty itself.
Just show the receipt when you arrive at Langkawi. There are booth outside for renting.
Out from the langkawi jetty, turns to your left and it is car rental. On your right is ferry ticket booth

early in the morning 7/8am will do wink.gif.

If you are driving, maybe you can consider taking the ferry from Kuala Kedah. I normally drive overnight from KL to Kuala Kedah and take the early ferry to Langkawi. For parking, I normally park at the school opposite the jetty. Cost about RM7 per day if i'm not mistaken. Do not park in the jetty parking lot coz there were cases of flooding during high tide.

Kuala Perlis is further away and I'm not sure about the details though.

Don't know much about car rental coz I use my aunt's car in Langkawi.
