QUOTE(newbi3s @ Mar 31 2006, 05:01 PM) save money dude I went there before the tsunami. back 2 days earlier. after that tsunami struck. Count myself a little lucky and you know what we had daily? Nasi lemak and burger.. feel that for 4 days and see how you suffer.. luckily the pelangi resort we stay have microwave oven to heat up the food. |

Telaga tujuh a big no no if you wants to go
Nothing much except potholes of river flow, which you just managed to soak yourself. And there's even a tourist ask me where is telaga tujuh, and i said it is here, while i am holidaying at there she was stunned |

For Jeffrey.
A rent of Wira will cost you between rm80-rm100 You can settle everything from the jetty in Kuala Perlis or in Langkawi jetty itself. |

QUOTE(harrychoo @ Apr 16 2006, 12:19 AM) if i want to take feri at kuala perlis, what time is recommended so will not crowded? You can rent from Kuala Perlis jetty itself.i'll take bus from penang to kuala perlis. when reach langkawi, do i need to directly rent car there? how to find car for rent? Just show the receipt when you arrive at Langkawi. There are booth outside for renting. Out from the langkawi jetty, turns to your left and it is car rental. On your right is ferry ticket booth early in the morning 7/8am will do . This post has been edited by stevanistelrooy: Apr 16 2006, 12:54 AM |

QUOTE(ding_dong @ Oct 1 2006, 09:46 PM) i just want to ask where is the place in langkawi for me to stay and value to my money..cheap but satisfied... You can try to stay at Pelangi Beach Resort or Langkasuka(IIRC)anyone got experience... can share with me Both are quite far from town, but the peaceful environment and the hotel situation is just perfect (IIRC a 15-30 minutes using car ) distance to Kuah |
