Hmm.. Pantai Cenang hotels ar.. High class ones got pelangi resort or 5 season

If really want to save on $, stay motels or chalets.. you can get the rooms' sample view from travel agents in the jetty. my previous stay in CD Chalet was quite pleasant.

you want cheap(but dun want plane) and you want quality...

i went there on merdeka for a 3d2n nights trip staying in an ok ok 3-star inn with a return plane trip only cost me rm400...but you said dun wan plane la want quality la...

ok take the bus to kuala kedah port in a bus(roughly 5-7 hours) then take the ferry (1 hour) then go rent awana porto malai...should be rm400 also maybe more..nono definately more...or you can try the same thing but stay in aseania...dun worry sure quality cuz i recommend all this hotels are 4-5 star...if still cannot, you can try casa del mar or four seasons tanjung rhu (not bad cheapest room starts from USD400 or you can rent their beach front chalet starting from RM13,000 a night)

want holiday dun so kiamsap la friend... tongue.gif

lemme suggest to you..book now airasia for a later trip...the earlier you book the cheaper it is...i book my ticket a month before my trip and all in all it cost me roughly RM340 plus tax for my ticket and another RM50 for my room 2 nights(hehe quad sharing la)...

so book yourself a ticket early, then scout around for ok quality motels or inns...try nadia's inn..i stayed there not bad to rest but to chill not really...its located at pantai cenang...another one is aseania slightly more expensive but its worth it...located at the end of pantai cenang and its a 2-4 mins walk to the beach..

try to locate tanjung rhu resort too..dunno how much but it looks nice albeit abit old....

RM400 seriously dun expect much of a place to stay but really get a good transport...if not you'll be tired when you reach and even more tired when you leave...

actually, if u wanna stay there, the cheapest is Awana Porto Malai. Because the hotel is next to a jetty, so no beach. That's y its the cheapest. U can stay there and always go across holiday villa's public beach though smile.gif Suit urself mate! Enjoy ur visit! Booze 9 9 okay?

why without tax? n btw, yes, i'm goin with air asia

Transportation
1 way - RM49.99 + RM40 airport tax = RM90
Return - RM89.99 + RM40 airport tax = RM130

total = rm220

Hotel Helang or Langkasuka
3Days 2Nights = RM450 for 2 rooms
we got 8 person, means 1 room for 4 person (can i do that? add bed perhaps?)
means rm450/8 = RM57 per person..

Grand total for Transportation n accomodation = 220 + 57 = +-RM280 XD

Play & Payment
bird park - rm10
crocodile farm - rm10
super high cable car - rm15
beaches - FOC food - estimated rm15 per meal
oriental village - free (ada hot spring)
mahsuri memorial - some sort of malay lagenda.. free
waterfall - free (telaga tujuh)

if add transport n accomodation fee rm270, i dun think need rm400 also tongue.gif

btw, can elaborate more on no tax for airport?

* ops, juz realise u wrote the price without tax tongue.gif
i thought no tax

can la 4 per bedroom..you pandai pandai la...most hotels wont say anything wan even tho a room is for 2....but make sure la the room can fit 4...

anyhow hotel helang would be 10 mins from pantai cenang and 20-25 mins to kuah town..usually car renting would cost you around 50-80 a day for a saloon car depending on size...the last time i went i was in a 12 seater van...160 per day!!
