Dinner: One at Palm View. Chinese Cuisine. 6 adults & 3 children. Fish (hung chao), fried sotong, taufu, vege, etc, RM123. Reasonable. Second one at a Mr. Chew Chinese Restaurant opposite of Aseana Hotel, almost the same dishes as the dinner yesterday, RM132. Reasonable. Car rental RM80 for an Iswara. That's all for now. I'll post some updates & photo when I'm back. Btw, I fly AirAsia @ RM85 per person (RM2 + misc). I bought the tickets in Feb The Tujuh Perigi got many fish. Fish feeding is nice too. Underwater World, went there on Monday 10 December. Yeah many tanks were closed. Last time someone poisoned it and killed a lot of fish there due to the sabotage against the Underwater World. Dude don't forget to go to the Geoparks there. Got 3 geoparks like Kilim Karst Geoforest Park, Pulau Dayang Bunting Geoforest Park and Machinchang Cambrian Geoforest Park. Worth to visit. Believe me. Go try The Loaf cafe at Telaga Harbour at Pantai Kok. Datai Bay, the beach is quite beautiful but it's private beach owned by The Andaman Resort and The Datai Resort. The most expensive hotels in Langkawi. At Awana Porto Malai, during sunset you can have steamboat dinner with nice view. Quite romantic. |

hey guys...
im going to Langkawi on 26 or 27 to 29 december.I need to ask a few questions. 1. Are there any van that I can rent over there cause there's gonna be around 8 of us going there.If so how much is it. 2. How about accomodations? U guys talk about Langkasuka, is it cheap? Any other recommendations? Thanx!!!! |

going for a trip to langkawi on the 23th till christmas. would like to ask some questions.
1. has anyone live in Beach Hotel at pantai cenang cuz it's a budget backpacker hostel. RM20 pernight per head. comments pls. 2. is there any to do in pantai cenang? are there any happenings during christmas in langkawi? what the food? 3. going with a group of 9 people. do u think it's cheaper to travel using van or bicycle? 4. it takes 45 minutes ride from pantai cenang to kuah town? thanks in advance. the last time i went there with friends, i walk pass da kastam with a bag. they didnt even check me or my friends at all man. all stand there gossip and chatting only. in my case, i didnt buy any alcohol or ciggy since i dont smoke nor drink but if i had balls and wanted to sell un-taxed items, i could have carry a bag full of ciggy and wont get caught since da kastam were too bz chatting. in LGK airport, my bag didnt even got scanned as i remembered. where are the security features man?
btw, anyone got contact for car rental in langkawi? i'm going there with my gf in january 04-06. want to rent a car. since only 2 of us, a small car like kancil will also do for us. how much is the average rental price on those dates? (i believe jan 04,05 and 06 arent peak season anymore right?) |
