Let this place attracts the KK, Putra Heighs and Subang Jaya crowd much like how Putra Heights was the target of SJ residents!

Sand bricks - aren't they typically used in cheaper housing? I'm surprise that IJM cut cost until like that! I could be wrong. I always assume the red bricks (that's clay, right?) is the quality one!

You never know. Kota Damansara is freehold and yet the price continues to go up. It all depends on how the township turned out, I guess. KD and Tropicana is also surrounded by freehold land such as BU and TTDI but yet it prospers. We'll just have to wait and see.

What I worry is that if there are not many people moving in, the house will be vacant - will the place become abandon? It looked nice now, but what happens 5 years later? There are just so many development down south these days but are people moving south?

Yeah, Jeg Hui, agree with your statement of not tearing down the Rimba. Hard to say these days! Matter of time before we have no more Rimba left in Malaysia!

So, did anyone go today? I went there and the only one in red are the caterer. I almost say hi to them thinking they are Low yat guys.. ha ha ..

Anyway, I am surprise that the Arc is just around 8km from the first roundabout (from Kesas Highway) and that gives me a lot of hope that this area is REALLY near Kota Kemuning and not as far as I have feared. That means, it can benefits from existing shop houses in KK and Rimbayu is now ver liveable from the on set.

The houses, based on the showroom, is nothing to shout about though. Master bedroom for the Chimes 24x75 is rather small because of the bigger second living room. Otherwise, it's pretty normal compare to many double story house (which is a good thing - square and easy to 'configure').

All in all, very positive about this now!

I like the lightwell too but I wonder, sigh, do I have to grill it? You know Malaysia la. Not the safest country.

I agree that the back room window kinda sucks. What sort of design is that?? Feel like a jailroom!

Who went with the high roof? I think with the high roof, the rain will get into the house, especially heavier rain.

Another photo of the staircase banister... not too shabby to me, since the wood looks great.

bug on lowyat forum don't allow for imgur pics with ? in the URL... so here's another link to the picture of the banister.

I didn't as there was just too many people yesterday. I intend to return there with my parents - to show them the house. I'll get more photos then.

As I drove into The Arc, there is a notice saying a highway in the works connecting Rimbayu to ELITE via SKVE. Didn't know about Kesas. But can tell what will happen is that there is be huge traffic at the 3 roundabouts in Kota Kemuning and they all be bottleneck. Not sure if there are plans to expand the roads. KK residents must not be very happy!

Yes it is. Go go go.. Very easy to find. Just go into KK from KESAS.. you will be at Kemuning Utama entrance.. drive ahead and you will see 3 roundabouts. Keep to 12 o'clock for all 3 roundabouts and you will be there.
