hi, i interested in 1.6 HS.

1)wat is the waiting peroid now?

2)wat is the best offer or rebet now?

3)does 1.6 underpower?

4)does the suspension really soft and bumpy?

5)does it suit to me when 80% of my journey is suburban non-highway east coast road.

6)wat is the fuel consumption compare to honda city 1.5?

hope all sifus can help me.tq.

i m the ex-owner of Honda City IDSi 1.5

If you are comparing FC btwn H.City vs Elantra, i believe no other car in the market can beat IDSi down at the moment, except for those Hybrid car

If you are comparing in terms of comfortability and fun-of-driving, Elantra will beat H.City easily (like cantonese saying "Win it 9-streets") drool.gif

One and only selling point for K&N drop in is re-usable. Other stuff you heard like fuel safe, better respond, more power... etc, all are just myth to me.

You'll need to wash and re-oil the filter with the re-charge kit every 20,000KM or so.

If you talking about pod filters, that is different thing lo biggrin.gif
*
How much is the re-charge kit? where to get it?
Or procurement of K&N filter will come together with the re-charge kit?

i have to agree with CreativeArt. My HE currently <3k millage shows different FC from the first day i collected my car.

Before first service (pump twice petrol Caltex and Petron), my car can hit 560+km with Caltex and then drop to 510+km with Petron both mixture of highway and city roads.

On first service, my wife didn't specify the type of engine oil and was given Shell 10W40 by SC.

FC then drop to below 500km with any Caltex,Petron,BHP and Shell. (Pump 4 times after service till today)

Shell was the worst as it was the first i pumped right after service.
Only lasted for about 390+km. Tried it on highway to Melaka and travelling about 120km/h - 140km/h.

Is it because of the engine oil? Im quite curious as im only getting average of 440km-460km per full tank.
*
Hi dude,

Full tank only give me 440 - 480 km if city + highway drive for myself.

today i went for 5k service, and i requested the SC to look into this matter. When i pick my car, they told me they have done some software tuning and ask me to monitor again until next 5k service.

Since I had already changed to iridium, K&N n coolant before so do not need to change anymore.
The bill amounted to RM80++ which include labor, oil filter n some other minor parts.
Stock plugs n filter should be around 150 n 100 each I suspect.
Fuel oil u using your own so not included that in.
*
Hi
that iridium spark plug can last for how many km?
