QUOTE(Snowguy2068 @ Apr 9 2013, 04:40 PM) so there is merida and xds. xds more expensive slightly (around 150) but has ten gears compared to merida with eight if budget is seriously limited, i'd go with the one with 10s. like butthead says, no point spending 2.3k and then spend a little more to upgrade to 10s.which one would you guys pick? will be dropping by to giant when i have the time but they are really unfriendly. (penang) if u can squeeze a bit more money, or wait and save a little more, go with any of the major brands with 10s |

QUOTE(lilredridinghood @ Apr 9 2013, 08:59 PM) Lol, I was in the same boat, but in the end, sizes may limit your choice and not forgetting the time of delivery. what headset? already got it laU will be even more frustrated once u get into the sport and want more things that will set u back tenths of thousands. Or waiting for headsets to arrive like our resident cat Miao sir here |

QUOTE(mrjgx @ Apr 10 2013, 12:31 AM) hey thanks for the suggestion and link! I know there's tune and ax lightness in my lbs but still i just want to go and grab the skewers without bringing my bike the threads on the rear shaft was not enough such that when the nut is fully screwed in, the skewer still couldn't clamp tight enough when i closed the lever |

usually there's 10% discount. so that makes it 809. the toupe expert is 359 after discount. so if you can justify paying rm450 for 73g weight saving, why not right?
