such a funky looking spoke lacing on the corima wheel... looks like a j-bend spoke on a straight pull hub..wonder how they did that

j bend spokes if laced elbow out makes the wheel stiffer laterally...but i can't get it on how they manage to stick those spokes into the hub...

or those are not j bend spokes

Just being curious, was looking around to get myself a new ride since i got only one year left in Aussie before coming back to kl in order to enjoy fully this hobby. Was thinking getting a carbon bike but then i felt like i got the feeling i will crash with carbon bike and find myself cant afford to buy the replacement frame.

I am thinking i would wanna get a competitive/aggressive geometry aluminium frame. The problem is most company did alu frame as entry level bike. Can anyone list out the frame/bike that are in this category? I start by putting in some i knew:

-Canyon Ultimate AL
-Spez Allez race (is it equivalent to tarmac??)
-Canondale caad 10
-Please fill it up for me...
