yes, those elements on lens front glasses will appear depending on the light angle and intensity, and it's difficult or if not, impossible to fix in PP.

greetings...
anyway the lens is fine and dandy for my use, I took 129 images today...with my lack of experiences I can't discern the before and after the crack... I just found out that SOOC jpeg at 100% really showing jagged and stepped edge!!! I should pixel peep more... on another note how to sharpen the moon shot..in ACR? or photoshop? or when doing save as jpeg for web by choosing bicubic sharper?? I always chose auto in ACR and not touching the sharpen and noise part in ACR... the moon from this evening ![]() |

May I know whether is there an adapter that I could get for my Pentax K-r so that I could use Canon lens?
Pentax lenses cost a BOMB! |

Try to find second hand lenses. Actually I bought a Tokina SZ-X 80-200 in Sim Lim Square in Singapore for around S$70, brand new. The dealer wanted to get rid of stocks that no one would buy since no one has Pentax. It's a fine lens, I enjoy shooting with it.
You'd lose pretty much everything when you use Canon lenses on the Pentax. It'd be fully manual, and with their newer lenses that means no control over aperture at all, and a crappy focusing ring that was meant for AF. Use old K mount lenses or M42 lenses with an adapter. Lenses that were built for MF are much more satisfying (and easy) to focus manually. |

The last one is my favorite.
The others... maybe push the ISO? They look blurry to me, shaken a bit. Also I'd work on colors, contrast, etc. Those photography events sound like fun, but I'm too far away, and I don't know KL nearly enough to do that sort of stuff. I'd get totally lost... but do go and enjoy ![]() ![]() ![]() Some old ones... shot with an *istDs. Lit with a mobile phone (15 or 30 second exposure, moving a phone with a torchlight app over the record player in a pitch black room). Should have photoshopped away the wires in the first one, cleaned up the background etc. But back then I wasn't good in Photoshop... This post has been edited by kadajawi: Apr 9 2013, 11:54 PM |

Need some help here:
![]() How do I control lens flare? Like the above photo, how to produce clean star flare from the streetlight? ![]() This image is cropped and it's taken at 6am, notice the severe lens flare from the streetlight nearby. I'm shooting with Tamron 17-50 if that helps. This post has been edited by Icehart: Apr 11 2013, 01:29 AM |

Close the aperture. Shoot f11, f16, ... that sort of area (maybe f8 will already do it, just try). Of course you'll be needing a tripod and what is moving will be blurry...
