Which service center?

i was kind of "forced" to change the air cond filter at 20k a month or so ago.. told the car my car isnt a year old yet, he said it should follow milage... i didnt think so. that filter costs more than my k&n .... zzzz 195 if not mistaken

oh wow... your one year old car did 25k... my 6 months old car... clocking 23k already.... huhuhuuuu

Hey as for the air cond filter, i've been reading about as well.. when i first got the car, whenever the engine is on idle and the air cond is on, there'll be this distinct "sweet" smell coming from the vents. this smell will go away once the engine is started again. Apparently it is a defect in the carbon air cond filter. and they change to the normal air cond filter while charging you that much. read this on crzforum.com

the service center is tenaga setia resources in PJ

Hi Guys, wanna ask if any owners here installed Door visor for their CR-Z? What would be the price of a door visor including installation? Would it actually make significant effect on the aerodynamic of the car?

The main reason why I wanted to install it because the car is parked under the hot sun sometimes and I wish to actually wind down the window a bit within the covered area of the door visor for the heat in the car to be released so that when I enter the car, it wouldn't be that hot. Another reason is because without the door visor, after rain , when u open your car window, the water from the roof actually drips down so with the door visor, it would prevent it from dripping into the car lol.

Hope to seek some answers here, Thanks guys smile.gif

I did consider the CT200h... but after test drive, it was not very responsive and the price tag was not worth it. but it was very comfortable and luxurious smile.gif

the closest thing to compete with the CRZ for me was my FD 2.0. so what tip me over?
1) The look. not often you can get a good coupe @ reasonable price.
2) Tax exemption
3) Fun drive, not as fast but sufficient.

My AC had some weird smell from the 1st day, after checking by SC it was the filter. They change it for me FOC. Maybe it's a design problem. Normally AC filters are not so easy to damage right..

the odor is caused by the material.. the stock that came from the factory is the charcoal filter.. and the one that was changed to a paper type filter..

So what's the difference of Charcoal filter and Paper filter? Is charcoal filter better than Paper filter? I've been facing the same problem of the weird smell once you ON the aircond.

How come I never notice any smell.. Charcoal filter is supposed to be better at eradicating odors etc etc right?

what Naka7a said is partly true.. i also did encounter the same issue once i got my car.. but it only lasted for a while.. and the odor only surface when i was in "auto stop" mode.. after a month or two it went away.. if you ask all crz owners.. i am sure that 90% will say the same..

as to speak in detail about the difference .. you may wanna head to the link as below :

i'm really confused right now. so now i'm not running on the charcoal air filter? i thought they replace mine with another charcoal filter, hence the price. normal filters don't cost so high
