hey guys i've been driving the CRZ for almost a year now and recently i purchased the K&N drop in air filter for RM299 from speedworks (they have a thread here). I asked honda and they said that the warranty would not be affected with this drop in air filter (original honda air filter cost like rm130 :'( ). Does any of you know anything about the typhoon air filter kit? will it affect the warranty? Also, any of you experiencing a kind of soft rattling sound coming from the left door when going on speeds of over 110 kmph?
thanks guys and have a nice day head!

nah, only switch it back to the original parts when you need to claim some parts. for servicing, i dont think they care? else.... parts like aftermarket rims etc etc... have to change? or do they have a record on our car?

yeah i guess you're right. oh and by the way when i did my 25k km service honda "recommended" me to clean my fuel injectors, a procedure which takes about 10 minutes and cost RM185. I wasn't certain whether it was necessary so i just said OK. I consulted a friend later on and he said the car's pretty brand new, usually a 4-5 year old car you would do that. So please don't get conned like i did.

Honda cheat one!!.. .last time my FD, every 10-20K keep asking me change the filter... about 200RM... crazy.... just take out clean clean abit ma can la... dont need change whole filter one. i think in 6 years i changed the filter only once. never had any problems with the aircon. infact, the car didnt have a filter for the 1st 2 yrs until Honda introduced it. i think if you want to change the filter, every 40-50K change one time enuf.

The Z seems very prone to rattling? I would have thought made in Japan it will be better built ... but i guess Malaysian roads are too tough even for Japan quality workmanship.
