Initially I thought yeah, no spare?? how can? but then, i asked my wife, if got spare tire, can you change it yourself? Of course cannot!
makes no diff.. at least with the TRK, she just follow instructions and reinflate the tire and drive to the nearest shop to get it fixed. smile.gif
besides the increase in performance, the FL comes with a 5 yrs warranty... especially good if you plan to keep the car long term.
*
that depends on who's driving it. even if its ur wife driving it and the car's tyre burst due to a huge pot hole especially in msia where pot holes are a plenty which i experienced it once, she could call for someone to go to her and change it instead of paying for a tow truck.

worse case scenario imagine the tyre kaput in north south highway or genting at night....tow truck costs will be cry.gif

sorry ya more than often i'm always thinking of the worse scenario and would like to prepare for it.

i rather my wife drives a 4 door car rather than the crz smile.gif

worst case scenario are good.. prepare for the worse. this is where the auto assist comes in, I think they can help you with the tyre... tell them your problem and need a tyre replacement. may have to pay a premium. money not a concern, I would be more worried for my wife alone in the middle of no where and needing to get ppl to help her. I'd rather her call auto assist for help, pay whatever the cost is to tow or fix the tyre and have her get out of there ASAP.
So in most cases, where the tyre dont totally kaput, she does not need to call anyone, and quickly get it fixed with TRK.... statisically, its safer... expensive or not, secondary.

205/50/16 hard sidewall tyre already good enough to blast touge bro, all u need is good suspension setup. Maybe open camber abit to 1.5 straight perfect. I run this set up on my old satria, cantik. But tyre wear will be fcked.

You guys who run on 17' tyre, performance or FC didnt got effected ?
*
+1 on this.. chamber also plays a gud role.. caster and toe as well.. (this is more technical to elaborate)...

metaled i am running on 17".. as far as for now.. the FC havent much effected as for now.. as it did at first (lost around 2-3kms/l if compared to stock).. i just need to readjust my driving style and gain back the missing FC that ive lost after slapping in the 17"..

thats why i need to mod my car step by step (slowly) as i need to suit/change back my driving style to keep the FC as stock.. (as for now i can gain 17.7kms/l)

QUOTE(Naka7a @ Mar 11 2013, 07:16 PM)
too late for tire choice already....  sad.gif

any good suspension to recommend?  brows.gif
*
it really depends on how deep is your pocket.. as from what i heard.. BC racing fully adjustable seems pretty ok.. ive tested once one my friends car (crz as well) the feedback is pretty great..less body roll if compared to stock or with a sports spring (obviously)...

Coilovers, I would take Showa Tuning.... specially made for CRZ. All our CRZ came standard with Showa shocks anyway. The Showa Tuning ones are better, but comes with a high price. It is also non-adjustable, which is good for me, as I don't want local "engineers" to mess around with the coilover settings based on their street "experience".
Can't seem to find anyone selling them though...

Tell him its been resolved... i got my car last friday. I hit the problem last tuesday. Called Honda msia, called the Sales manager, made the Sales manager take ownership and the incident manager. Daily follow ups... 2 days later, registered! My FL is now rooming the streets of KL. just never pressed the S+ yet tongue.gif

Honda malaysia said there was a Memo saying that i can be registered on monday past. Call Honda malaysia, tell them about your case, post your findings on Honda malaysia Facebook. you will get response.

I called Honda Malaysia yesterday. They told me the documentation problem has been resolved last week. Now is just that they are slowly releasing the cars to the showrooms. So will take some time. doh.gif
