it is definitely on the way. just hold on. they do know the situation and are on to something now. so, by the time it is due for 408 owners to have their atf changed, there should be a pleasant surprise already. i think it is about 50,000km right? the schedule has been changed also to reflect a much lower cost for the 60,000km service. it is spread between the 50,000km and the 60,000km.

they could be lower due to: 1) they could have bought from singapore and brought in without declaration. singapore has no tax on spare parts. 2) they could have bought from nasim (they are actually nasim's parts vendor) but sell lower than nasim's rrp due to lower overheads cost.

so, it is possible for a lower price from them but will not be possible to bring those oils to be changed at authorised service centres (even though those bottles could be original stuff bought from asli which asli could have bought from nasim themselves) due to strict warranty policy imposed by the french.

the service cost for 50,000km and 60,000km has somewhat been evened out already. so, your atf is now changed at 50,000km interval instead of 60,000km.

here's a bit of info. the french are worse. trust me, the guys here only work based on what they are allowed to do. there's no shortage of talent but all are tied to what the french say can or cannot be done and well, the sop's from the parent co suck. so, everybody has to wait. tidak apa attitude? try working with the french to know what it really means.

it is traceable unlike what some say. any tampering will be recorded in a fault code. most of the time, the sc just close one eye but when the owner asks for warranty, then they will show the owner the fault code. this is even after removing the tuning box used before sending for service. as long as there is an abnormal performance spike, the ecu records it. so, think about it. it is still your choice though.

touch screen as i was told is still undergoing testing. not ready for sale yet. funny that it is available for sale from the main vendor. hahaha, could be the untested units going for sale. seems there are a few bugs that need to be cleared first before nasim starts retailing it.

might not be traceable. but harness must not be tamped with. power also must not be tapped. power usage must be equal to the original hu; not more, not less.

previously someone used a china made gps/touch screen unit for a 308 and the system required more power than the usual supply. this fried up the circuits and screwed up the air cond. needless to say warranty was thrown out the window.

408 windscreen without labour, retail price is about rm2.3k while the 208 goes for rm960 thereabouts (i don't have 100% confirmation on this yet though). it is way smaller than the 408's windscreen.
