Anyone knows the turbo pressure on 408t? Any independent peugeot sc can check whether our turbo is working fine? Or any gauge we can buy to test it out?

Will you help you client to file complaint, follow through the complaints and do all the after sales service for your clients upon purchasing a peugeot from you?

I guess you are not gonna do that to differentiate yourself with the others in the market.are you?
Then, why should they buy from you? Good discount? Its tempting but not good enough.

With the o
over trade and 5 year free service amd the sales are not really picking up. By now, the company should have realised it's not only the car, but also the after sales service that are shunning clients away.

That happens to proton..... and imho, peugeot gonna follow proton footstep.

Good luck in your sales.

Me too. Door behind driver side will release "yieeeek" whenever I accelerate. To lazy to inform sc about it. Don't think they will and are able to do anything about it. Checked all screws are tightened.

Just to share with those who plan to send their car to CSL for service or inspection. I did mine 2.5k inspection last Saturday and tried to let them know the problems I was facing with my car. Guess what, SC said they don't fix problems on Saturdays coz not enuff technician or rather main technicians not around. So they only do purely service and inspection according to schedule. If I want to solve issues then have to bring my car back on weekdays. Pengsan.

After 2 days, SC KD told me that they need to change the fuel tank due to fuel leaking underneath. No parts available, thus need to wait at least 3 weeks.

They said it's ok to drive back my car and I was told not to pump petrol full. I was wondering whether is it safe to drive in that condition?

Currently I have wasted lots of time attending to this problem. They don't have any courtesy car available (troublesome to drive one car to SC then go back 2 cars). Shouldn't I get any compensation due to their poor service at first place? And should I send email to Peugeot pertaining to this?

Atglenmarie centre now. Sending in my car for the turbo issue.
saw few 308t having gearbox issue and one even for engine replacement. Few 3008 and 508 also got issues with noise and gearbox. No 408 in the list except mine. Hahaha...

But I saw 1 408 in the workshop for repair.sth was taken out but I m not sure what it was.

Hmm what kind of noise problem? Did you asked?  hmm.gif  hmm.gif

No. I didnt ask. Just saw it from the appointment list displayed on the reception desk.

Apparently, I m not the first to get my turbo kit replaced. Owner number 8408 silver had his car parked inside the workshop for turbo replacement too.

Hopefully to collect my car tomorrow evening.

* some correction here, my car so have the turbo but the compression is lesser than it supposed to have. I got to know if is about 0.9bar. I m not sure, maybe someone can give a link to the exact compression.

I was told it cost rm14000 for the replacment of turbo. Of cos its foc for me but I have yet to collect my car.so, stay tuned for updates.

skyjack, I guess bynlw we have to accept the turbo kits and peugeot cars have too many defects namely loss of turbo, loosen screws(screw went missing at the front passenger door), additiomal screws in the boot lid (happened to me), rattling sound, rear brake disc (scratch line), battery (replaced a new one at 10.5 month of ownership), etc.

of cos, the same things/issues also happened on other car makers. I dont have the stastics to provewhich car makers having the most defective parts or problem and vice versa. Nonetheless, peugeot cars are not really in good quality givrm the high priceof the cars offered here in malaysia.

still, I m satisfied with the performance of this engine and the good handling of 408t.
lastly, its the warranty, to comfort myself futher, at least peugeot has changed a battery worth rm550, and a set of rear disc worth (rm500 maybe), and gonna change tubo worth rm14000. My car is worth more than it is priced initially, hahahha. A very lame joke. But it does make me feel better.

cant wait to collect my car tomorrow. Hopefully the technician does not disappoint me.or else, m gonna wait until thursday or friday only can collect my car.

Hahaha, like I said, its good that our car is unde rthe 5years warranty. But this isnt an independent case like our minister says...when it happened to youthminitster, he says it is not perception. He who got the snake bite feels the pain.

Anyway, I m not so worried about the warranty during this 5 years, i m more concern abt the cost of reapiring if any after 5 years, imagine cost of repair of rm20k if timing chain fails or cost of repair of rm 14k if turbo fails after warranty.

lucky for me, I m not bound by the 9 to 5 work hours. So, sending car to sc is not really a problem but rsther a chore I chose to evade.

lets see I can collect car tomorrow or not....
