Hi. Just got my 408 2.0. There're pieces of plastic wrap on the body that could not come off. Any ideas how to remove it?

The inner part of the wheels seem to be rusted. Will this be an issue?

May be it is Ford Sync that has sucked out all the juices. There has tonnes of complaint on that . May be they should just name it ford Stink or Ford sink instead

After tested at latar highway the top speed for this 1.6T is 200 km only ,cannot go beyond this .

and also tested with civic ek 1.6 (99) our lovely 1.6t can only  manage  at one car behind the civic .

Somebody can write to Peugeot ask to look into this problem....... I think this is important for the Lion continue to survive, it is no joke once overheat and course the engine block bend, you can bye bye with your Lion .

thinking of getting the 408 turbo, so far not much negatives. is the FC good? for long distance travelling etc, and what is the overall review of this car? Already test drive the car, quite powerful

I drove a VW Sharan to Taiping yesterday, it took around 2/3 of the tank, roughly RM150 petrol (Ron95).

Well, the driving experience is not bad and German knows how to make car. In the whole trip, I dont really feel that I am driving a big car or I am being ignorant but I am impressed.

But then in the end of the day, I still like the naughty element of my car. Powerful and fast. Why I say so?

1. Driving at 140 on Sharan, I feel that the car is slightly floating. I think it is because the car is high and too light for that size. It is totally not under power, but I doesnt like to drive fast if the feeling is not right. 408t running at 160 is still steady

2. Way different tuning of the car. Sharan will be all time at 6th gear even when you are driving at 80. This make Sharan is fun to sit in because you dont feel the jerking of the car. But then, I am power hunger beast

Then again, I am coparing 230k to 120k. LOL

why not 5008 vs sharan?

I complain the aircond "not cold enough" before, My SA told me not to step too hard all the time.. because this is part of the car's sensor function. When you step hard, the aircond will automatic cut off until your speed is stable. which is to protect the aircond compresor and also give you enough pick up power..

Is there a way to make the battery 'dead' just  before the warranty?

Yup good idea but dont do it on weekends.Happened to me today ...battery dead only after 10k service last wednesday..Worst part no technicians to change battery...suggest by careline tow to sc change on monday....what kind of service is that...

Thats assuming the system doesnt go into eco mode and automatically turns everything off after a few minutes..

anyone knows where i can get a replacement key? preferably something that looks exactly like the original..i spoiled mine initially in the washing machine and now i think i lost it..

I'm targeting early next year, see if there is any promotions for CNY. Currently the promotion is like 10k discount for deepavali but I m traveling end nov, so wait for next year.

I saw the new 308 2014 on paultan but don't like Aircond controls in LCD.
