Unless you're on ice, you won't feel much affect using VS. Smoothen the flow, I would say good for those that charge things like phones, gps, etc in the car. Lessen the spike thus lengthen the life of batteries of those items vs without VS. Lessen the compressor kick but only slightly. If you did not charge anything in car, no ice and short on cash, VS is not a worthwhile investment. In long term tho, I believe it does help extend the car battery lifespan but that is not truly substantiated.

For GC, IMO, it depends on the GC quality and installation positions. Using Eric Tioh's custom made VS, most importantly his high quality full copper 4GW GC cable with the RIGHT installation position, its affect is more pronounce in terms on smoothen gear change. That have a pronounced affect on my 4 years old Civic FD low end acceleration especially when complementing Civic weaker stock GC.

On 1.5 years PE, the affect on VS/GC is not that obvious BUT smoothen gear change is noticeable. After a while somehow it comes to me that, I forgot abt the effect of compressor kick-in.....that also means although its not that obvious, the GC/VS combined set do help in lessening the impact of air-cond power surge on the car electrical system, does not have a sudden power pull on my H-Line PE anymore. Not sure abt manual car tho.

Conclusion, IMO, Eric Tioh's GC is worth the price, VS is up to you but I put it on full GC/VS combo on all my 4 vehicles at home. So far so good. Do note that the quality of VS and GC makes a big difference, so choosing an incorrect VS and GC quality with incorrect setup even with high pricing might not do you any good.

Oh....whatever they say.....VS and GC does not add to HP. Thats a complete bull...
