Dude, you can get upgrade to 8mbps if your local TM internet exchange got 8mbps port DSLAM.

Finally after nearly two months my streamyx went offline, it's finally back
Looks like they did cable upgrades or something

Even my downstream speed is set to 20000kbps, I wonder if that means unifi installation is coming soon.
At least now I'm finally getting proper 8mbps speed

Hi, I just upgraded from 1 mbps to 8 mbps but the download speed doesnt go beyond 250 kb/sec .

What's seem to be the prob ? I'm the only user in the house ( I deliberately opt to streamyx > unifi because people said unifi tends to cause high ping - I play Online games a lot so to avoid that I subscribed to Streamyx which is 8 mbps )

I've tried downloaded games from Origin & Steam , it doesnt exceed 250 kb/sec .

I even have premium account of filehosting - uploaded, rapidgator, keepshare , nitro - but all downloaded stuff still stuck at 250 kb/sec

Btw , I'm using TD W8968 .

Recently I'm having frequent disconnection but I'm not sure it's the modem or tm problem?
