Its only a launch announcement.... no pricing not even the form factor....

The rest of the specs are already expected, leaked and rumored.... nothing surprising there....

Now the wait is on till E3 (hopefully have some more info then), for pricing (arnd Sept Oct or earlier) and launch in Nov 2013....

Not true.... ICE can end when you are totally sextified with your setup, or when your budget ends, or when you significant other pulls your ears while closing your bank acct.... whichever comes first....

Detailing freak dont stop or end, as the car paint coat will get oxidized and degrades over time and exposure to our harsh weather.... so more money into products to maintain the look, then money goes into repainting the car to get the fresh coat look, and then more money into products to maintain the new coat look... rinse and repeat....

Detailing product cost (and hard labour hours) will end up costing way more than even the "Dual HU setup" of our more fanatical ICE lover here, or the Doc's setup....

Not even close.... the magic of mmcs is that it reads the CanBus and display in car functions and settings...

At most, the link shows a HU that is comparable to those aftermarket HU replacement units (Dynavin or any China made units)...

Try this seller and hope the item is still available.... and this is much cheaper (albeit being a used unit) and comes with Papago X8.5 too....

Bro... no, only mmcs can read and display the car's functions and settings.... thus the reason this mmcs is now so hunted by the fans of it (ask Xabi how many places he went to get his mmcs)....

The link I gave you is merely a local and cheaper unit (albeit an used unit) that is comparable to the ebay link that you posted earlier....

This was considered by many earlier.... but....

1. How do you mount the ipad, and where...?? Have you seen the fugly mounting of the ipad on YES's 4G Inspira car... (google it)..??

2. If you mount it in front of the HU, how will you access the buttons on the HU...??

3. If you are thinking removing the HU and mount the iPad there, how the hell will you be able to stream the music from the iPad to the speakers without the HU...??

4. Even with iPad Mini which is the better option as its smaller... the above still applies....

HINT: If you are using an iPhone 4 or 4S, you can fit it just nicely horizontally in between the two knobs of the HU.... so you CAN have a smaller 3.5in screen in front of the HU.... perfect solution for me thus far....
