U decide is this funny haha or funny funky: Adding absorber noise inside the cabin, in return for improved handing into corners and slightly harsher bumpy drive on straights, due to Malaysian roads....

Google "how to wash K&N air filter"... or you can get the same info from K&N website too...

Washing: you can use any detergent... i would advice you not to use powdered, unless you are very sure the powder is fully dissolved as you dont want to leave detergent powder residue in the filter...

Oiling: K&N uses its own oil, so does other manufacturers having their own oil for this purpose.... you can use cooking oil, lubricant oil, engine oil or other forms of oil at you own risk....

DIY kit is gooding if you not staying arnd KL/PJ...

One kit = RM80, can wash arnd 8 times (as per instructions la)...

Goto Speedworks (PJ), wash 1 time at RM11... no hassle, no labour... u do the maths...

Ya hor....

Detergent powder+air into engine CLEANS the combustion chamber, thus better mileage and powarh....

First layer to stick to the filter is detergent powder, which also means it goes into the engine first.... then later only does the oil (cap buruh ka, natural ka, indian ka) goes into the engine.... soooooooo...

Detergent Powder cleans the combustion chambers.... after that the oil enter and lubricate the chambers.... double function....
