yeah i agree. i saw a similar stats manti to mine but is 1348 DPS instead and is priced at 700m. So 190 dex is worth 1b. LOL

but compare to other tankier DH ..my setup is nothing

Seriously, 555K EHP, many 200K DPS monks have lower EHP than yours.

and not to forget 30%dmg reduce by default..and also they have alot of dmg reduce skill to mobs skill...
and also unseen dps buff...
I had a monk toon myself...and from 6+k dps my dps can go wooping to 12+k dps...in battle...that is 50% buff there...crazy.

yeah agree...60-70k dps Monk/Barbarian way better than 150k dps DH...

finally sold my manticore that has been with most of my dh's life



bought it at 120m, sold at 8m. deduct 15% tax, 6.8m

from a pretty decent one.. to a crap lol

and i noticed my int manti rolled nearly max dps without % damage affix

Honestly speaking, this is not quite true.

DH's gloom -35% damage & -15% GT are so OP.
Not to forget the insane LS% from gloom.

Speaking of damage, 50% buff is more of paper dps.
If you refer to the Ghom@MP10 benchmark that we did, you can see the real damage per second of both monk and dh is quite close.

Those tanky monk & barb have much higher EHP, at least 600K to millions EHP.

In order to tank, DH must use fast weapon like Calamity.
And combo with GT + perma-gloom.
I find DH can really tank too @ MP10.

GT is not that good cuz I want to be mobile and stutter stepping instead of face tanking. If I wanna hold left click, I'll play a monk.

Ghom ain't a proper benchmark and I'm too lazy to explain why. But yes gloom is indeed OP.


In order to tank, DH needs hard hitting weapon not fast weapon. In order to kite, DH needs fast weapon. Again, to perma gloom, it does not mean fast weapon. I run 40/50 disc on high MP ad I don't have disc problem to gloom. What matters more is crit chance which procs NS better and yeah faster weapon procs NS better but faster weapon also means lesser damage and longer fights.

barb is a cheap hero. all you need to do is mash buttons and spin around all day.
