Yes..am sure. I've bought one when it was launched with the price of RM1600 (IINM). After a few months..gave it to my sister as i also have Nexus 7.
After a while i realize i miss the S Pen. The SPen size for Note 8.0 is more comfortable to hold/use compared with the SPen for Note phablet.
Years doesn't matter much as nothing exactly new coming from latest firmware. Beside..am using it for notes taking and reading. So..latest firmware not important to me.

How is the current condition of your old Note 8.0?

I suppose it still in good condition as my sister never complaint anything bout it

Do you guys having overheat issue.. It's annoying.. I always got error message saying my tablet is overheat. Sometimes, it's real overheat.. sometimes, I believe it's a false alarm because the tablet is switch on less than a minute in cold morning it get overheat error..

the only solutions so far that I found on the net is by connecting charger to the tab all the time, and it works for me.. but that's just a workaround, not a solution..

do you guys having same issue.. i'm using the latest update one. android kit-kat.

b4 kit katstillcan enjoy 5-6hrs screen on time for heavy use. after kit kat,3hrs++ is the best even limit the highest cpu speed to 1k mhz. last hope is to try disconnect battery for 1 hr trick.

i used it bare for 4 mths but really scared to scratch it. so i got tempered glass while in hk 2 weeks ago. the person said, already has some minor scatch. i think for a stylus pen, tempered glass is a must because normal screen protector doesn't feel nice to write on.

because currently no other wacom-based 8" tablet exist as far as i know. but if there is new note 8 i also want to upgrade  . the only issue i have is the weight, coz other newer tablets are getting much lighter.

what brand is your tempered glass? what u mean by not feel nice to write on? write on tempered glass become more smooth or more into like write on paper?
all note series use wacom sensor right?

sorry, i donno the brand. feel nice means same feeling as original glass on the tablet (like no screen protector).
yes note series use wacom. so note 8 is the only one with 8". looks like no hope of getting updated model for 8".

still got Note 10.1 right?
