got the note 8 yesterday. very good tablet, juz a bit slower than my liking. very worthwhile with the current price.

do u guys hv a recommendation for a light & nice cover?

Best light weight and thin cover is the original flip book cover from Samsung, u can get the replica version from Taobao at cheap price.

Anyway an advice for buying case is avoid buying one with magnetic back cover. Cuz it'll interupt the usage of the s-pen at the area close to the magnet(ie can't draw in a straight line)

just got mine from satugadget cheras for a decent price

so far so good...but battery-wise and ram management, i think my mini ipad is wayy better.

maybe i need to install those pesky bloatwares first and see if this can improve the overall performance.

any good quick tips for a note 8 virgin let me do share...esp on battery and overall speed

i have not updated to kit kat yet. still deciding whether good or not.

I didnt hv time to use when in 4.3 or earlier as I updated to 4.4.2 after getting it. Strangely, this tablet doesnt come with timer & stopwatch. Anyway using Timely & loving it.

Do you guys having overheat issue.. It's annoying.. I always got error message saying my tablet is overheat. Sometimes, it's real overheat.. sometimes, I believe it's a false alarm because the tablet is switch on less than a minute in cold morning it get overheat error..

the only solutions so far that I found on the net is by connecting charger to the tab all the time, and it works for me.. but that's just a workaround, not a solution..

It happened to me once. Didn't pay much attention to it though.

i didnt encounter this problem. i only found the device is more than average heaty is when playing clash of clan. my other games seem to be fine. maybe u can try to uninstall some of your recent new or updated apps.

How is the review for Note 8.0 user after 2 years? Battery can stay for whole day if actively used? like play COC? if browsing can last 2 days?

Heavy gaming or browsing won't last 2 days. I don't think any phone or tablet can last even one full day...LOL

last night got deal new Note 8.0 for rm779, is that good or bad? for 2 years model?

Especially COC, that power hungry game. Never bother to judge cause it just eating too much power. I think any game that needs constant internet access is power hungry. Playing Tower of Saviors can last for at least 6 hours though.

At this price point is very good for Note series.
