Asked the Samsung service kiosk at LRT station before.. it cost you about 200++ and 3 days if you send to the service kiosk.

But if you go directly to the Samsung service centre at Lowyat.. you might need to wait for 2 or 3 hours.

Hi, ive been a fan of note 8.0 since the launching. However until now still dont manage to buy it do to various reason. Currently owning an s3 as phone & social use and a tab2 (sigh) as my diary.

My question is,

1. is it still worth it for me to buy the note 8.0 now to replace my tab as Im going to give the tab to my children for their use.

2. On another note, i was also thinking to replace my s3 to s5. That is until Note 4 launch today. And I was thinking to merge both gadget & just buy 1 note 4. But im afraid that due to my high usage of internet on my phone might affect the battery life.

1. no rumor of a new version of Note8, so if u think the price is right then go for it.

2. Note4 and Note8 screen size very big difference, Note8 is a proper tablet which not as portable to bring around compared to a phablet. As for battery life if u do everything on the Note4, I think the Note4 battery should be quite long lasting, otherwise there's always power bank to back your device up.

No news for new edition of Note 8.0 kah..?

Read it from somewhere that Samsung will discontinue note 8. Thats why I ask whether is it worth it to buy it now since its already abt 2 years in the market.

Is it true that by upgrading to kitkat, it cant detact sdcard?

awwww... really? it's the only small tablet with stylus..

KitKat disable external sdcard writing features. You need to root the ptablet and apply a fix. Or maybe wait for Samsung to patch it with updates. I sold mine long time ago but thinking wanna get a new edition if released. If confirm no new edition then might as well get this one now.

Hi Guys.
I have a bit of a weird problem with my Note 8. I didn’t root it. The thing is, the back and the menu button always ‘disabled’ if I fit my tablet with its case, (those which look like a notebook) but whenever I took it out, it is fine. It usually takes like several minutes for it to be OK back. Oh yeah, sometimes the display also off too soon. I wanted to buy those hard back covers, but couldn’t find any. Any advise on my weird problem?
